RST Net is actively involved in the energy transition in Iceland by implementing solutions in collaboration with key market players. We have already participated in projects with Landsvirkjun, Laufey and N1 where Kempower fast charging stations have been installed that ensure reliable, flexible and user-friendly charging for electric vehicles. Such projects are important steps in building the necessary infrastructure to support the country's energy transition.
We also offer a wide range of AC charging solutions and smaller DC charging stations from VEGA Chargers, which are well suited for companies, municipalities and other parties who want to offer safe and cost-effective charging. The solutions are flexible, easy to use and designed to meet the needs of both the public and commercial sectors.
Going forward, we believe that BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) and DC-Grid solutions from MR Reinhausen will be key components in building a sustainable energy distribution and increasing security of supply. With these solutions, it will be possible to improve the utilization of renewable energy, smooth out fluctuations in production and contribute to a more stable electricity system that supports Iceland's goal of carbon neutrality.
